Description
This trail is not that well-marked; it needs to be marked better. Other than that, it is a very nice hike. You'll pass two shelters along the way. First is the Hall Spring Shelter which has a spring directly in front of it. This spring has nice cool, clear water! The trail then heads directly beside the shelter if you are going in the direction that I was. The next shelter is the Woodland Shelter which has a separate trail that leads to it. Take this short Woodland Trail as shown on the lower right portion of the map if you want to stop off at this shelter. This trail is lightly used and unmarked. Overall, this route is a very nice hike with loose rock and gravel with a mix or hardpacked dirt.
