Extending from the Old Landing Cove, the Ohlone Bluff Trail is an additional 4.5 miles filled with fantastic Pacific Ocean views. This hike follows the bluffs in Wilder Ranch State Park and is great for hikers and bike riders alike. The Ohlone Bluff Trail is quite level and easy to navigate, which makes it a great hike for all ages and skill levels. From the parking lot you will find the Old Landing Cove Trail at the west end. Head right (north) from this point until you get to the first railroad crossing. From here you can walk the railroad (north) a few hundred feet to another crossing and head west. This will take you to the start of the Ohlone Bluff Trail. A second option is to continue down Old Landing Cove until you reach the ocean. Here you will find a beach. Crossing this beach will also take you to the Ohlone Bluff Trail; however, it is only accessible this way during low tide. The path follows the coastline for about 2 miles until it circles to the backside of the nearby farms. From here the trail parallels Highway 1 and the railroad track. Keep following the railroad until it eventually connects back to the Old Landing Cove Trail.
