From the trailhead on Pedro Rd., take Cronan Ranch Road to the first trail on the right up a steep climb to the top of Cronan Ranch Valley's West Ridge. After cresting the ridge, go straight until the trail ends at South Fork ART.
The trail is a combination of singletrack and fire road. There are no particularly difficult sections, but the initial climb is demanding.
