Mt Lakeway Trail

Although the straight ascent measure is 461 ft, the trail has a lot more "floors of gain" when you factor all the switchbacks. This trail is equivalent to going up about 50 flights of stairs, but the grade is kind and winds you up the hill in an encouraging way. About 0.4 miles before you reach the top, look for a small trail to your right leading out to the lookout point with a great unobstructed view of the Lakeway area and Lake Travis. This is not for small kids or anyone who tires easily.
