Nails Creek Trail

This is a wide, easy trail maintained by mowing that is very useful for connecting many parts and trails in the park together. The trail begins at the Nails Creek Loop Trail and equestrian campsite (note: the park is closed to equestrian use until further notice, so check the park website for updates). It crosses the road to the main boat launch, so be mindful of traffic. It then connects to the Overlook Trail while offering some open views to the northern inlet of the lake. The trail then heads south, crossing the picnic area drive, to terminate at the Lake Shore Trail. This last section has very clear views of Lake Somerville.
