Description
This trail leaves FS230 at the junction of Telegraph Trail. Once you enter the trail, you climb steadily to the top of the ridge for the first half mile or so. You then start a gentle descent into the Piney Creek Basin, and at about 3/4 of a mile in you cross Piney Creek. From here, you then begin your ascent back to the other side of Piney Creek. Continue on over the gently rolling hills until you reach a junction with Piney Trail near Infantry Pass Spring.
