Description
For the most part Mill Run Trail is flat, on loamy soil, with few challenges. Nevertheless, it is a stunning stretch of singletrack notable for its beauty as it courses along Quebec/Mill Run. The trail runs along a camping area that provides an excellent place to eat and relax. Also, from Mill Run Trail you can access Miller Trail, Rankin Trail, Grist Mill Trail, Brocker Trail, and Tebolt Trail, so the options are many to extend your hike from here in creative ways. The trail has a couple of small stream crossings and several muddy sections all of which can usually be bypassed. Full disclosure, there are a few challenges as the trail briefly ascends the sidehill before dropping down again and then at its southern end it climbs steeply.
