Mostly a connector to get from the trailhead at Minor Park to the upper trails across Blue Ridge Blvd, River Trail is flat and wide open with views of the Blue River. There are a few different splits but they are user generated and all end up going to the same place so don't get too worried about which one to take. An accessible trail option in a quiet stretch of woodlands, south of Kansas City.
