A really fun singletrack that feels remote and provides some good rolling terrain.

Description
The Cochie Springs Trail is the most separated of the Dove Mountain trails located near the Ritz Carlton, as it sits in Cochie Canyon all by itself, while the rest of the trails are located in the Wild Burro Canyon. It also is an out and back style trail and doesn't loop up with the other trails, meaning it's often the least utilized, but certainly is one of the most enjoyable hiking trails in the area. Access to Cochie Springs is via the Wild Burro Trail to Upper Javelina Trail, and then Wild Mustang Trail, which will lead you finally to the beginning of the Cochie Springs Trail. Those familiar with the Phoneline Trail in Sabino Canyon will recognize some similarities in the trail as for a while it runs along the middle of the hillside with views both above and below. There is some pretty good rolling terrain and a few steeper, rockier sections thrown in too. Overall, this one will give you a good workout and is very fun too. The trail ends up on dirt roads that can be followed out of Cochie Canyon to loop around the Tortolitas to the north of the Honeybee trails if you are looking for an even longer hike.
