Description
The Fendley Trail Loop A trail features a view of Swift Creek Lake at the beginning of the route. To make the early part of the hike more interesting, this route includes part of the Forest Exploration Trail and offers views of Swift Creek Lake from a higher elevation and includes a small creek crossing. Fendley Trail offers a variety of hilly terrain and Loop Trail A offers some additional scenery and distance. All-in-all, if you are looking to put some miles on the trail, this is a nice hike. The woods throughout Pocahontas State Park are just beautiful.
