Point to Point
This trail begins the ascent to Montanon Ridge and is quite steep in parts, especially if you have a pack. The first three-quarters of a mile are flat and casual. However, as soon as the trail bears southeast it steepens dramatically and becomes a strenuous climb. Expect towering canyon views that gradually shifts to a sweeping overlook of the plateau and bluffs of the east island. The trail rocky and gravely, so be prepared for a rugged hike.
