Peralta Hills Trail

The trail starts at the intersection of Oak Trail and Anaheim Hills Trail near the north entrance to Santiago Oaks Regional Park and travels along a ridgeline down to the Wilderness Trail near the main park entrance. The upper section provides a nice view of the park and includes a bench to rest and take in the view. On clear days you can see Catalina Island. After the bench, there is a short little dip towards another side-trail exit and then back up to the ridgeline. The dip is steep and rocky, so watch your footing. You continue gradually down along the ridgeline before making the final descent. The descent is a switchback with a few rocky sections. The trail levels off near the end with a final straightaway to the Wilderness Trail.
