Corundum Mine Trail

This trail follows parts of the shore of Lake Superior and offers scenic views along the way. There are a few historical places to visit, many of which are related to the old corundum mine located on the trail. Near the end, this trail intersects into the paved Gitchi-Gami State Trail, which offers countless connections to other trails in the area. When getting ready to take a trip down this trail, expect a mixed-but-doable tread and plenty of opportunities to get down to the water's edge.
