Description
This section starts at Forest Road 90, at Holly Creek Gap, and travels northward. The trail enters the Cohutta Wildlife Management Area and winds its way to Bear Creek Trail. The trail turns left and follows along with Bear Creek Trail. Eventually, the trail turns off Bear Creek Trail and it travels independently. After winding through the hills, the trail descends down to Mountaintown Creek Trail and it turns left. The trail continues up to Forest Road 64, at Buddy Cove Gap. Here, at Buddy Cove Gap, is the highest point on the Pinhoti Trail.
