Shingle Mill Pathway Loop

The trail starts off as a singletrack trail through the woods along a creek. There are some steep climbs up and down, with moderate scrambling. The ranger station is located at the end of the first part. After that, you have a short paved trail though a campground and across a bridge. After that it's either back to singletrack in the woods, or across the shortcut along an old logging road (flat and straight, but a but rough).The end of the trail goes through open grassland and then finishes on a boardwalk through a marsh. Overall, this hike provides a great variety of terrain.
