The Idarado Legacy Trail extends eastward from Town Park and the River Trail and is a gentle route leading toward the east end of the valley and historic Idarado Mill. Once you reach the mill, there are informative plaques about the area's mining heritage. The journey itself will be easy, though you'll be climbing gently as you move eastward. This trail provides breathtaking views of the end of the box canyon.
