Yellow Branch Falls is a 50-foot waterfall in Tamassee, South Carolina, which is accessed by an easy 3.5-mile there-and-back hike. It crosses over creek beds and ducks under tree tunnels. The trail begins at a picnic area, and it is clearly-marked all the way to the waterfall. Mountain laurel and birch trees line the paths as well as rhododendron and a few red oaks. During drier months, the waterfall may only be a trickle, but the many cascades are a beautiful sight after a few days of rain. There is a large clearing at the base of the falls where you can relax and explore the rock formations while you take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful waterfall.
