There and Back
This route begins at the northern end of the Flume Visitor Center parking lot and leads to the summit of Mount Pemigewasset. From the trailhead, follow the Mount Pemigewasset Trail as it heads under Interstate 93. Climb a series of stone stairs and cross wooden bridges while gaining approximately 1,290 vertical feet over a gradual 1.7-mile ascent. At the summit, navigate the rocky cliffs to enjoy southwest views. Retrace your steps back along the Mount Pemigewasset Trail to return to the parking lot.
