Description
This is one of several trail loop options on the top of Blackhawk Ridge. There are sections through forests that are quite scenic, along with wide open meadows, with occasional views of distant terrain features and the rural landscape of southern WI. The trail is fairly wide (sometimes mowed in summer), and traverses flat to rolling terrain, but is generally not too difficult. It is great for hiking, running, and cross-country skiing.
