Description
This hike runs along East Beach from Stearns Wharf to Cabrillo Pavilion. The beach itself is sandy and sparsely populated, making it a great place to relax and have fun, while being able to take in the classic view of Santa Barbara. At the base of Stearns Wharf hike down the coast along the paved path that parallels E. Cabrillo Blvd. You'll quickly cross over Mission Creek on a bridge before passing the long and narrow Chase Palm Park. Eventually the path ends as it runs into E. Cabrillo Blvd. at the eastern extent of the Chase Palm Park. Parking at Stearns Wharf is limited to street parking on Cabrillo Blvd and paid parking lots adjacent to the beach.
