Path Type
Point to Point
This trail begins at the main parking area near the Confluence Trail. All dogs need to be kept on leashes near the parking lot and within 100 feet of the Confluence Trail, but everywhere else on this trail is off-leash. The first part of this trail passes through wide-open meadows perfect for dogs to run through. The wooden fence that marks the habitat restoration zone will be along your right for the first half mile (Meadow Trail then continues along it). After the trail crosses Meadow Trail it will head north through the middle of the park. After about a mile the trail enters the swampy part of the Sandy River Delta and can be exceptionally muddy after rains. This trail ends at the Confluence of the Sandy and Columbia Rivers along with Confluence Trail and Meadow Trail.
