Lacamas Creek Park is arguably the most wild and scenic urban park in the Portland area (though Oxbow Regional Park is certainly a contender as well). This short hike will take you by all of the park's highlights, including Round Lake and all three of the park's waterfalls - Pothole Falls, Lower Falls and Woodburn Falls. You will also see impressive stands of old-growth Douglas fir near Woodburn Falls and the fields of spectacular violet lilies for which the town Camas was named. With all of its water features, this hike is a perfect destination on hot summer days.
