Schoolhouse Gulch Trail

This is a great trail for those staying at the White Spar Campground and looking to get out and stretch their legs. This trail has everything from beautiful surroundings to challenging hills, to even geocaches as well! Starting at the parking area, follow the doubletrack as it meanders through dense forests on a mixed tread to end at East School House Gulch Road. Several areas on the trail have a lot of loose gravel and medium-to-large rocks, so watch your footing. While on the trail, you'll have a good chance of seeing mountain bikers, so be sure to stay alert. Depending on the season, several small creeks intersect the trail, so expect to get mildly wet as you cross.
