The trail is mostly in wooded areas with intermittent openings of loose, rocky terrain. Some steep hills and narrow paths make this trail somewhat challenging. The "summit" of Goat Hill overlooks the area below. There are many species of wildlife in the area and also plants. Some hunting does take place in this area during hunting season.
