Point to Point
This historic trail is one of the oldest in the area, and most likely pre-dates the park. Early visitors used the trail as a bridle trail, and it's enjoyable to imagine riding on horseback through the area. This trail connects NW 16th street with the park, and the trail is most commonly used as a connector to reach other trails.
Along the way, visitors will enjoy the natural surface, though ruts do form in places. Watch your footing, especially in the steeper portions of the trail, where water bars exist. Near the intersection with the Pine Trail, there will be a bridge crossing. The bridge is well maintained, but it's wise to use caution in this section anyway.
