The Ice Age Trail is one of several trails in Indian Lake County Park, with the Ice Age Trail covering some of the parks highlights, including some great views of Indian Lake, open views of the surrounding, glacier-carved region of hills and valleys, and some serene moments deep in the woods. The trail has many flat sections, but also features some healthy climbs and descents in the parks southeastern forest.
