Georgetown Branch Trail

This trail is part pavement part gravel. Starting from Bethesda, it runs into a tunnel that runs under Wisconsin Avenue. It continues north turning into gravel shortly before it hits the East-West Highway. There are no road crossings until it reaches Connecticut Avenue. It continues and intersects Rock Creek Trail. Finally ending at Stewart Avenue. The lower half is popular among commuters and gets less populated the further north you go. Loose gravel makes it a pain to ride a bike on. This route is best left to runners and walkers.
