Description
Most people will take Cowan !Meadow Trail for a more gradual way around the mountain to get to Hayfields Trail and up to North Sonoma Mountain Ridge Trail. Cowan Meadows Trail does offer a nice diversity of fields, fallen trees, some eye-popping wildflowers, a stream or two, and a few spots where you can catch a glimpse of the valley to the east.
