There and Back
Please don't trespass on the cell tower land. The biggest challenge with this hike is about a half-mile of steep incline through thick brush, however there are openings. Be sure to take care when going up and down, as there are a few parts where you almost have to literally climb up. Views from the top are incredible, though a cliff down on the side facing Matanuska Glacier should be noted. However, the sights are wonderful.

This trail is steep and can be slick in the muddy spots. The trail also braids up and down the hill, with numerous different routes possible. It would be wise to have a hiking stick to aid in traction in the steepest parts. The blueberries are starting to ripen right now, August 5. They should be ready in two weeks.

Very nice hike that gives you a 360 when at the top and there you get a very nice view of the Matanuska glacier especially on a sunny day
