View Trail Map in AppDirections leading to Eagle Ridge Road for trailhead parking are inaccurate. Eagle Ridge Resort is a private area and does not allow parking in the gravel lot near the fire pond as indicated by google maps directions. Best alternative: Park at the Mt. Kearsarge North trail-head and hike up to the connector to Bartlett Mtn. The connector is not obvious and needs to be mapped. It is visible on other mapping apps however.

Point to Point
A low-traffic trail with great views of the Moat Mountain ridge and Saco River Valley. Park in a gravel parking area on the east end of Eagle Ridge Road.
The path starts off a cross-country ski trail (seen on the imagery). The trail has a short approach followed by a continuous incline of moderate difficulty through hardwood forests and ending in spruce/fir forests and exposed granite. A great trail for intermediate hikers as well as for a family outing. It is 1.6 miles one-way (3.2 round-trip).
Once you've admired the views and the mining history, simply return the way that you came.
Special feature: There is an old mining exploration site next to the trail which will look like a large four-foot wide hole in the granite and is seven feet deep.
