Point to Point
To get to this trail you must first work your way up part of the Maxwell Falls Trail. Starting from the upper trailhead of the Maxwell Falls Trail, you'll reach a point where the trails branch off.
The trail on the right (headed south) will continue along the Maxwell Falls Trail, while the trail on the left (trending north) will be the Cliff Loop Trail. This trail brings you over the top of the cliff face that passes the Maxwell Falls Trail and then connects back into that trail. This trail also contains the highest point of the journey and provides an expansive view of the area.
Follow this trail until it rejoins the Maxwell Falls Trail at the foot bridge. You'll be shaded by lodgepole pines for most of the route, and the way is generally easy. There is a bit of a descent nearing the footbridge at mile 1, but it's nothing too difficult.
