Description
This short 0.9 mile loop is relatively flat with a lot of roots along the path. There are also multiple low areas that are flooded after a rain. This trail is great for technical trail running. From Loop 1 continue straight on Loop 2. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. At 0.4 miles the trail begins to bear right and you can see houses from a neighborhood on your left. At 0.5 miles the trail turns right again and the houses are left behind you. The trail gets a little narrower as it slightly declines. At 0.7 miles you begin to get close to the swamps and bogs of Stumpy Lake. This area has an abundance of ferns and woodpeckers. Right at mile 0.9 you come to the intersection with Loop 1.
