Description
The trailhead is located at the Mariners Museum parking lot. It is a well marked, singletrack trail that provides some endurance for hiking in the elements and terrain. There are some really beautiful scenery along the trail, wooden bridges, Muary Lake and a short section along the banks of the James River. At just about 5 miles, this is a great trail that allows you escape the urban feel of Newport News. Enjoy the scenery! This trail can get congested on nice days so be prepared. Many walkers and dogs.
