East Indio Hills Trail

Starting at the parking lot, cross the aqueduct and head across a few ridges. Watch for trail markers heading right (northeast) across a flat plain. On the far side, follow the loop clockwise. Watch for trail markers that lead you up a few ledges on the left before dropping into the most exciting part of the hike, a series of small but fun slots canyons. The back part of the loop then climbs to a peak with 360 views of both valleys. Continue along the loop back into the plain, and eventually turn left at the trail markers to return to the parking lot.
