Red Hill Trail

From either direction, Red Hill will provide some uphill climb up until the forest. Suggested access is from Shell Beach parking lot through part of Pomo Canyon Trail. Because it's slightly higher in altitude than surrounding areas, keep your eye out for Turkey Vultures and Red-Tailed Hawks gliding up above. There are plenty of field mice for the birds to feed on out there! This trail offers views throughout, but the most rewarding will be found by detouring south to the Red Hill Summit Loop.
