Flint River Greenway

This greenway connects to the Big Cove Creek Greenway right inside Hays Nature Preserve off the main road. The trail is an easy 1.87 mile journey alongside the Flint River. There are a couple of bridges that pass over the Flint River that provide for some great views of the area. The greenway ends at Old Hwy 431. You have a couple of options at the end of the greenway: you can either hike back the way you came, jump on the horse trail that starts by Old Hwy 431 (which connects back to Hays Nature Preserve), or hike north on Old Hwy 431 and cross over to the Little Cove Greenway. Parking is available at the trailhead located in Hays Nature Preserve and off of Old Hwy 431.
