Description
Numerous seeps along the bowl meant that this trail had to climb to stay above wet areas. So from its start on the CCC Forest Road, it starts climbing right away. When you get to a big rock that has options to over or around, you are almost at the top; but this rock is just a taste of what is to come. Soon you'll be navigating rocky sections. And even though the trail starts to descend, gravity doesn't make it much easier. The end part gets much easier with some switchbacks through a red pine grove before ending at Hungry Hollow Rd.
