Description
The Rainbow Valley Trail is used as a bypass to Roman's Rise, Kylie's Crossing, and Brian's Brink or to make a larger cross-country loop around FINS. It starts smooth, but you'll quickly gain speed as you descend towards Rainbow Valley Road. It then goes around one Palo Verde tree, then crosses through some light sand before approaching the one significant climb up the mountain face. The trail becomes lined with jagged rocks up top here, so be careful. The trail is mostly hardpack from here, with manageable sand on the top layer.
