Description
The trail is fairly flat. The northern portion of the trail is mostly covered by cedar (ash juniper) trees, and can be quite rocky. As the trail curves around toward the southern portion, the trail gets a little more rolling and the trees are a bit taller and more of mix of oaks. This area is a golden-cheeked warbler and black-capped vireo habitat, which I think is one of the main draws of the trail. Quiet visitors will be rewarded with potential sightings of these two beautiful birds.
