View Trail Map in AppThere is trail access from the school parking lot but they do lot allow parking at the school lot during school hours. There is another small parking lot off of Naugatuck Avenue with room for 5 or 6 cars.
The trail is for rxhing only--no biking or motorized vehicles.

Loop
I went during the week so I parked at the lot off of Naugatuck Avenue. It's a small parking lot and I'd say only 5 or 6 cars would fit at any given time. I took the trail westward and followed the trail loop around the smaller pond and back around the large pond. There is a trail that runs between the two ponds if you want a shorter trail. I saw lots of little birds and plenty of ducks in the ponds were swimming, taking off and landing in the water.
The trail is not marked or blazed but the trail is easy to follow. The trail is mostly compact soil with tree roots throughout the trail. There was one muddy spot where my sneakers got soaked but there is a way around it. One smaller section has gravel. Mondo Ponds is a nature preserve and they do not allow dogs but I did see a few owners bring their dogs on trail.
