Description
Shawnee Ridge Trail (blue) is just over 5 miles. It includes Bald Hill, Sand Hill and parts of Rocky Knob. Several steep sections are part of this forested trail. Starting at the campground parking lot, follow the trail behind the parking lot up to the Shawnee Ridge Trail, where it intersects with the Sugarloaf Mountain Trail. Once you are on the Shawnee Ridge Trail, follow the signs for the blue trail, which is the Shawnee Ridge Trail. The trail cross mostly wooded with hilly terrain and some steep inclines and ravines. It also connects to many of the other trails in Great Seal State Park for those looking to add some variety to their hike.
