MA New England Trail/Metacomet-Monadnock Trail: Section 8

This section of the NET/M&M starts from the visitors' center, then skirts around the edge of the quarry. It turns right off the Robert Frost Trail as it climbs up Mount Norwottuck. It descends to the horse caves; use caution as this area can be a little technical. It ties back in with the Robert Frost Trail and turns right. It travels along a few different ridgetops and finally over Long Mountain. From here, the trail descends to the parking area on Harris Mountain Road.
