Point to Point
Start in desert and transition to mountain terrain. In the mountain portion, there are brooks, trees, and nice boulders. The mountain portion is shaded and its grade is steep enough at points that moderately experienced hikers will be taxed. At the end of the trail, there is a waterfall that runs seasonally.

All Clear
Roughly 6 miles on a dirt road to get to the trail head. The road is very rough, definitely only for mid-clearance and above vehicles - we were in a small suv. We didn’t see anyone on the road or the trail, it appears to be a low usage area due to the difficult drive.
The trail itself was in very good shape, a gradual incline for the first half, with ascents and descents to follow. Save your energy for the final .5 miles, it becomes very steep near the top, with an elevation gain of 280ft in the last .25 miles. The glade at the top is something to behold, but watch out for mosquitoes. You’ll find bear scat all along the wooded part of the trail. All in all this was an amazing hike and worth every minute.
