Eagles Loop

This trail provides another quick side loop off of the Ranch Road Trail. It backs up to a small slough that varies in water levels depending on the current volume of the Trinity River. It rolls gently through heavy tree cover the entire time. As you enter the trail, be sure to pay attention to the signs as the trail appears to cross the small slough. If you cross any water you have gone the wrong way. There is good signage at both ends of the trail for easy wayfinding and an enjoyable quick side trip.
