Point to Point
This trail starts with a mellow downhill grade as it departs from the overlook loop and quickly gets steeper. One section is narrow and weaves around many trees as it makes its way back towards the trailhead. It gradually opens up as you descend and a few rollers will appear as the gradient tapers off.
The trail flattens out and becomes more twisty after this point and will take you back to the Connector Trail at the base of the overlook stairway. The upper section of trail was benched into a very steep hillside so you may even get the feeling of exposure in some areas.
