Description
This is a well-worn trail that has been around for quite a while. It offers peaceful ruching through a forest valley, a good climb, and spectacular views from the ridge. The trail is very rocky in places and you'll have to watch your footing. There are several spur trails and lesser-used loops connecting to the main trail that invite further exploration. The trailhead off Cragwold Rd has limited roadside parking but is well used. Alternatively you can drive around to the entrance of Emmenegger Nature Park where there is plenty of parking and connect via the paved trail.
