The Boone Trace Trail is a 1 mile loop through a corner of Levi Jackson State Park. The trail starts next to the swimming pool, and can be accessed from the pool parking, by using Boone Trail South, or off a service road from the campground.
The trail is well maintained and used, so it's generally dry, flat, and smooth. While I would classify it as singletrack, the trail is approximately 5-6 feet wide and can comfortably handle two hikers abreast.
The trail wanders through the forest and follows a road for a while, so there will be some traffic noise. Overall, it is an easily-accessed route in the woods for somebody looking to get some nature time in without driving out of town.
