Nice trail that is lightly trafficked and cuts through Redbird Hollow nature area. Trail surface ranges from packed gravel to uneven rocky sections. Southbound is downhill and you can park at either end of the trail.
Closed
Large sections of the trail are currently closed (Mar 4,2026)
From the north west entrance there is a sign about 100 yards in saying trail closed (looks semi permanent)
South east entrance you get about 1/4 mile up there is a temporary closed sigh and there is a pretty significant washout of the trail shortly past it.
When dry it would probably be ok to slip past it but in the wet it looked pretty bad.
