Description
It starts at a parking lot which only holds about 4-5 cars. I parked about 0.5 miles back down the road on one of the turns and it was fine. The trail starts off with a nice decent before turning into a mountainside trail with nice views. After the first mile or so, you'll encounter shale rock/gravel which is somewhat hard to run in but just be careful with those ankles. It lasts for about a half a mile. Once you hit mile 2, you're in for a good climb to the ridge. At the top, you can continue to the right to get to the next ridge (which I recommend). It offers better views.
