Point to Point
From the parking area, take an easy hike down the Chesser Island Boardwalk through the cypress trees draped with Spanish moss. It is easy to see the remnants of previous wildfires, including the most recent fire in 2011, which destroyed most of the boardwalk.
Visitors will witness alligators, a variety of wading birds, and possibly sandhill cranes. All four seasons in the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge are full of variety, and you are sure to see something different each time you come!
